Hi team,

May I know what’s the quiescent current if TPS63020 is operated with power save mode disable?

The number shows in datasheet is 50uA but it didn’t address if power save mode is enable or not.

READ_VOUT command (8Bh) use VID format, To convert READ_VOUT raw value to decimal number, use the following format…VOUT = OFFSET + (READ_VOUT)*STEP_SIZE.

If use MFR_SPECIFIC command (D4h), How to convert READ_VOUT raw value to decimal number?

Is where need to convert for Linear16 format conversion?

If yes, I not sure how to get exponent N in linear-16 data format.

Hi

I'm using this DC converter in my PCB to generate -5 V which will power the opamp (negative power supply terminal, the postive power supply of the opamp +5V will come from outside) and +3.3V to power up the MSP430 so

Vin is +5V, Voutp=+3.3V, Voutn=-5V

My question is can I use this converter to generate these two different values at the same time? by mean they are not symmetric for example in the data sheet they mentioned +5V and -5V .

I have purchased bq27510 evm and I am trying to perform a learning cycle. When I try to set the initial  parameters and write it to the gauge it shows error "value is beyond maximum value defined for parameter: Calibration.Data.CC Gain. I am not sure what to do ..

Also I am unable to set the State of charge . It always shows its 0%.

Hello team.

I have a relative question of the following E2E URL about TPS62160 Vref tolerance.

The customer mentioned that If the maximum Vref tolerance is +/-2%, so they can use TPS62160. In the datasheet, the tolerance of output voltage is including Internal divider. The customer would like to use the adjustable type of TPS62160, so would like to know TPS62160 Vref tolerance?
Would you please share maximum Vref tolerance?

Your advice would be so appreciated.

Hi All,

We are use bq27441-g1

In our case distance between the battery & sensor pin is bit long.

May constitute 100mOhm as external resistance between battery & sensor pin.

Will this impact gauging or learning cycle? or having big external resistance a cause of concern?

   From the datasheet, the TPS61220 is having an efficiency of around 80%. However, when I measured based on the circuit below, it only

come out to about 66%. I can;t figure out why there is a drop in the efficiency. Please help. Thank you.

VBAT    - 1.5V @ 6.05mA

VDD_S - 1.9V @ 3.24mA

VFB      - 500mV

  PCB layout is as per datasheet recommendation. Both C1, C3 and C4 are placed 1mm of TPS61220

UCC27712: Caps from gate to source

Hello,

My customer was seeing spikes as shown in Image #1. They were able to remove the negative spike by adding C(L), Image #2, and they were able to remove the positive spike by adding C(H), Image #3.

  1. Is this solution recommended by TI?
  2. We were concerned more with C(H) which feeds back to the boot strap circuit. Any concerns from your end about this?

Note: the images below were collected with supply at 24V, but will need to function at 200V in the real application, C(H)=C(L)=0.1uF/400V.

LP8860-Q1: LP8860-Q1 output abnormal under the temperature -25℃

Hi Team,

 My customer use LP8860-Q1 in their cluster and it appear black screen and have no display. Such a phenomenon  happened often when the temperature is under -25 ℃. When it appear black, the output of LP8860 is abnormal.

Does LP8860 have any bug under the low temperature? Could you please give us some advice?

Currently customer's first choice is Richtek RT5789A.

The customer's purchaser request RD is looking for 2nd source to SY6875A.
Before we have recommended TPS25910 and TS25940-Q1 but the specifications are a little worse. Is there a better choice than TPS25910 and TPS25940-Q1?

Customer specifications are as follows

END Product is SSD.
1. Max. Vin > 20V
1, Current limit should be at least 3A or more (to be adjustable)
2, support 5V and 3.3V input at the same time

4, there is discharge (currently SY6875A also has no discharge function)
5, has clamping function
6, support -40~85 degrees
7, adjustable SS time (not necessary, better)
8, there is PG pin (not necessary, there is better)

Would you please give us some advice?
