How to exit Permanent Failure Mode of bq2084

Hello,

How do I clear /SAFE, i.e. exit Permanent Failure Mode?

The /SAFE output pin is low, causing the external transistor circuitry to force /PFIN input pin low. So PF clear is futile until I can clear /SAFE.
