BQ80xrw not working with labview activeX

I'm using activeX in a labview 2012 application to access the BQ80xrw.ocx file in my windows/TI directory. It works fine using windows XP, and I can load the application but not run it in windows 7 64 bit. I have a windows 7 32 bit machine that won't even load the VI in labview. Labview crashes to desktop every time I try to load a VI that has or calls the activeX. The EV2300 software works with the latest drivers from TI's website, and the old ones that I've been using on the systems that work won't even install on this system. I've updated my .net installation to make both PCs match, I've copied the OCX file from a PC that works to the one that doesn't. The registries match, and the system features match. What am I doing wrong on this new machine? Is there a setting I'm missing?
