BQ24160: BQ24160 EOS Issue

Hi sir,        

                 Regarding to the BQ24160, when the DC power input is 5V and BQ24160 are broken by surge/ESD energy,

                 Could you tell us the internal of IC (for example MOS or dc/dc converter) are open or short?

                 It means that IN was opened to the SW or IN was shorted to SW , when the BQ24160 are broken by EOS?
