TPS2590: About the operation when the CT pin is short-circuited

Hello,

My customer created an FMEA for the application, and it was impossible to assume operation when the CT terminal of TPS2590 was shorted to GND.

In the data sheet, CCT is charged with a 35 μA current source, and the timer is set by comparing the CCT voltage and the threshold (/ EN: Hi).I think that it is not possible to set the timer if it is a complete current source, but I would like to check if other assumptions are necessary.

For example, should it be assumed that overcurrent flows and generates heat?
