For a new batch of boards I wish to re-calibrate the bq27500-v130 for a modified pcb layout around the sense resistor.
Using the EV2300 and the bq evaluation software (version 0.9.90) I can load the gauges with a .gg file created from previous boards, and read the dataram and dataflash ok. After resetting the gauges apparently work fine.
However when I attempt to run the calibration routines from the bq eval software, all the calibration steps fail, for example the "CC Board Offset Calibration" fails with the message: "Failed board offset calibration. Error code = 772". When I run just the "Voltage calibration" I get the message: "Failed to enter calibration mode". Also the boxes for "Measured Voltage", "Measured Current" and "Measured temperature" all contain the value: "Err_Rd".
At this time the board is in complete powerdown with just the fuel gauge supplied by the LiPo battery and its I2C bus isolated from all other masters/slaves on the board. I added 10K pullups on the I2C lines in my EV2300 unit.
Thanks for any advice you can give.
