Part Number:TPS5420
I am currently using the TPS5420 in and automotive app to regulate battery voltage (9-15volts) to 5 volt. I need ~1A capacity.
I need lower quiescent current so looking at TPS54240 or TPS54202. If I do not need extra features of the TPS54240, is there any other reason not to use the TPS54202 (smaller and cheaper) to replace TPS5420?
