Hi,
My customer is using TPS65381A-Q1 + TMS570x.
Now he is trying to test the case when TPS65381A-Q1 watchdog timer reset happens.
So WD_RST_EN is set to 1 in SAFETY_FUNC_CFG and wait until reset is generated.
The watchdog reset is generated properly and MCU(TMS570) is reset. This is OK.
After MCU is boot-up, another reset is generated by TPS.
Is this just because another WDT reset is generated?
(SAFETY_FUNC_CFG register contents are not reset and kept?)
If so, customer is thinking to clear WD_RST_EN bit once during MCU start-up routine.
Is this proper approach?
