I've been trying to setup the Bq34z100 Eval Board with a 6-series LiFePO4 cell battery pack to evaluate the Bq34z100 for use in a current design project, and while I thought that I was making progress in understanding the setup and calibration of the part, I now have it in a state where I can't successfully re-calibrate the part.
The 'FAS' and 'SS' bits are green on the Data RAM screen, yet when I try to do a voltage and/or temperature calibration I get an error box telling me to ensure that the part is not sealed.
If I skip down to the current calibration, then the app blows up and I get a "Runtime error 6:Overflow" error box.
I'd previously calibrated the part several times with no issues.
For these initial test, I've been using a BatterySpace PR-CU-R350 battery pack that consist of 6 AA Power LFP-18650-1500 cells in series, and have thus selected battery chemistry ID 0439.
I've attached a zip file of screen captures from the Gas Gauge Eval Software that shows the setup for the Bq34z100 and the error messages. Any comments on the part setup for this part are welcome.
Thanks for your help!
