For a 10 cell cordless power tool battery pack, which of these part numbers would be best? Or would there be another ideal component?
The difference I see is that the bq76930 is only the analog front end which requires a host controller, the bq77PL900 has real time communications to a host controller but can act as standalone, while the bq77910A is standalone only. Is that the main significant difference between these parts?
Which gas gauge would be best paired with each? Also, why can't I find the bq78350 in stock anywhere? It is used on the eval kit for the bq76930, but is it a part recommended for new designs? The bq34z100 seems to be another option, but am I missing any other components that would be best suited for a 10 cell cordless power tool battery pack? Discharge currents are about 3 amps.
