TPS63031: Can output keep stable when the input continuously fluctuates

Part Number:TPS63031

Hi team,

My customer is evaluating TPS63031 to output 3.3V from a battery. The voltage of the battery ranges from 4V~2V. However, the battery also supplies for other load. When the other load changes, the battery voltage continuously fluctuates. Please see the battery voltage as below picture. Green curve is the battery voltage.

So could you please help evaluate if the TPS63031 output can keep stable when the input fluctuates as the picture shows

And I have some question about how to judge this.

1. How fast and at what frequency does the input voltage fluctuate will cause undershoot and overshoot on the output? Is there a parameter like 'reaction time' of TPS63031 to evaluate this?

2. In our datasheet, it describes that the maximum line regulation is 0.5%. But it doesn't mention the test condition. Does it mean the 0.5% can be applied to the total input range from 1.8V to 5.5V?

Thanks and Best regards,

Wayne
