Good Morning Ti,
I am just evaluating the bq78350 and bq76930 combination EVAL board. Having got thru the 76930 steps OK, I am having trouble with the bq78350. Could you assist please?
Whilst programming with the EV2400, the LEDs came on very bright and programming failed. Nothing as catastrophic as another member experienced see “re-blown bq78350” as I switched off before getting too hot.
However I did manage to persevere and program the srec with an EV2300. Unfortunately I think my gauge IC is possibly damaged as the bqstudio dashboard greys in and out with occasional timeouts messages and I don’t see as per page 22 of the EVAL User guide.
I am going to change the IC with a sample device provided by Ti. Thankyou.
My questions are:-
Is the EV2400 programming blown IC issue resolved?
Is there a new srec file? I am using - bq78350_v0_06_build_16.srec.
Should I see as per page 22 of the User guide with no greying out of the dashboard? Note also no cell voltages measured.
Thankyou.
Regards
Martin Gibbs
