Hello all,
in the datasheet for the bq27742-G1, you are recommending a filtering network connecting to the current sense inputs for common mode rejection. However, for my current design, I can't allow capacitors in parallel to the two resistors connecting pack+ to the chip.
What kind of effect on gas gauging (accuracy?) is to be expected, if those capacitors are omitted? Are there other ideas for filtering (e.g. capacitors to ground)? As a first step, I would select the largest feasible value for the sense resistor, assuming that this would improve SNR, am I correct?
Thanks for your input,
Joerg
