LM317: input withstand voltage

Hi Team,

What is the LM317 input withstand voltage? As it only list the input to output differential voltage in datasheet, how can I get the input withstand voltage(Vin max)?

If my customer use it to 24V→12V, does it's input withstand voltage is 12+37=49V？
