Part Number:BQ25505
Hello,
I´m currently designing a circuit for a power bank device with an integrated electromagnetic energy harvester. Since the system load will only be attached via USB to VSTOR, when the user needs to charge a device, is the external PFET stated in page 15 of the datasheet required? And also what would be a suitable value for the MPPT percentage?
Circuit specifications:
- Output of the harvester will be around 1V;
-Two custom EM harvester modules with two AC/DC custom rectifiers connected in parallel to VIN_DC;
-No Primary battery;
-Secondary Battery -> Lithium Ion: Nominal Voltage 3.7V, Nominal Capacity 1000mAh, Charge limited Voltage 4.2V;
-TPS610997 connected to VSTOR to increase the output USB voltage to 5V;
-MAX1551 to charge the battery from an external USB power source, and POK pin used to disable the BQ25505 when USB charger is available;
Attached is the schematic, please let me know if there are any problems with it.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best Regards,
Rafael
