Hi,
I'm currently using a BQ27421 gas gauge in an embedded systems and for some reason when power is applied to the system it takes approximately 60 seconds for the Gauge to detect that the battery is charging (monitoring the Flags register Low-byte bit 0 DSG). Battery charging is handled by a TPS65217 PMIC. I've gone through the datasheets for both devices and can't seem to find and explanation of the delay. I've noticed it sets the discharging bit straight away when power is removed. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?
