Hi everyone,
regarding my master thesis project, I have problem in recreating simulation results presented in the application note LLC Design for UCC29950 Texas Instruments slua733 3s. I find it difficult to define which initial parameters are regarded as which state (of the resonant tank). The following is my approach:
- I make simulation of the LLC circuit in PLECS (similar to LTSpice in case you don't know it)
- I simulate different the operating points until I get similar waveform as presented in the application note, which I find it very difficult to define which operating point is regarded as which mode. At the end I move on with some waveform look like the ones in the application note.
- Using operating points found in PLECS simulation and the equation given in the application note, I write a Python script which is aiming to solve which time point and which initial values are needed in each state.
I got problem in finding this inital values, and as I oberved in PLECS simulation, a very sensitive operation changes also require different state-sequences. In other word, my simulation wont work. Can someone please help me with this issue? Maybe can someone provide me a simulation script so I can refer it to my simulation, maybe I have the wrong strategy.
