I am trying to charge a 3S battery pack (3,7V / 7200mAh) using self-designed hardware based on the bq40z60EVM SBS 1.1. The hardware is almost the same - i have just left out the components used for precharge. I am using the default settings for Data Memory and an AC adapter which provides 19V/4,7A.
The problem is that i can not charge the batteries - the TCA & TDA bits are set in the Battery Status register and XCHG/XDSG bits are set in Operation Status A register. I am not able to turn on the Charge FET and the Discharge FET.
