I'm having issues correctly installing the USB drivers for the EV2300.
I've tried installing on a windows 7 sp1 64 bit computer with the unofficial 64 bit drivers from here: http://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/battery_management/f/180/t/128220
However, windows does not recognize the device. It is listed in the windows device manager as 'unknown device' with the error: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). If I'm not mistaken, this indicates a driver issue.
When I tried installing on a different machine (windows 7 32 bit) with the official drivers listed on the EV2300 page I still get the same driver issues. I did notice that running the windows xp/windows 7 32 bit installer results in the installation of windows vista ev2300 drivers ver 20a.
Is it possible that the drivers on the TI website are not compatible with windows 7? Or could there be another problem? Anyone have a solution?
