BQ27545 HDQ and I2C Communication

Hi Team,

 I am working on an application that requires communication to the BQ27545 via the HDQ and I2C interface. The HDQ interface connects to an external device and the I2C to a local processor for reading the registers. 

Is there any reconfiguration that needs to take place when switching between which interface is used?

In the event that the HDQ and I2C bus is used simultaneously, how does the BQ27545 handle this? Is this even an issue?
