we're using the TPS65150 to drive and LCD panel. I've succesfully used it with the TPS65150EVM, only by tuning a few resistances and one delay capacitor. Since it was working with the EVM, I basically repeated the design of the EVM on my device, adjusting only resistances values and capacitors. But I've a few issues I cannot figure out (sorry, not an analog guy).
What basically happens is that something starts to burn after a few instant after turning on. The problem seems to be related with the first BAT54S of the positive charge pump, the one driven by DRVP, since it always breaks.
Here is my design, do you see something wrong? I've already fixed the FDLY pin wrong connection and I've already added a third BAT54S, as done on the EVM. Whereas the device has a NOMOUNT badge, it means that it has not been placed on the board.
As for now all tests has been performed with no load (LCD disconnected).
