TPS65400: Output voltage NOT getting generated on TPS65400

Part Number: TPS65400

Hi,

We are using TPS65400 quad PMIC on one of our internla testing board for controlling Vout through I2C interface. We referred datasheet as well as Webench as a reference to generate the circuit. But we are not seeing any output voltage on any switcher output. Attached is our schematic and webench report that we referred.

Following are my few comments / observations:-

  • For now, we are not using I2C (JP2 and JP3 are not connected). We just want to first make sure voltages on all rails are getting generated correctly by default.
  • We are using power sequencing as suggested in the datasheet (page no 64, section 9.2.3. External Sequencing Application)
  • VDDD (PCB2) is 3.3V, VDDG (PCB3) and VDDA (PCB4) is 5V on our design. i think this is as expected.
  • Clock on CLK_OUT pin (PCB1) is ~1.2MHz. This is also as expected as per resistor set on RCLOCK_SYNC pin.
  • But I am seeing no voltages on switcher 1 output which is 3.3V as per our design. Other switchers are also not giving any output, but this is expected since we are following power sequencing as SW1-SW2-SW3-SW4.

Could you please review our schematic and suggest if we are missing anything? Can you please suggest any rework with which we can debug this further?

Thanks,

Chaitanya
