Hi there,
I am testing a battery made up of 12 cells, using the bq78350.
In order to meet the sleep mode requirements I have set the sleep parameters following the section 7.3.1 of the manual, using these parameters and values:
BLT0= 1;
BLT1=0;
Sleep Current =100 mA:
Voltage Time= 5 seconds;
OperationStatus[SDM]=0;
and all the alerts are set to low.
I decided to set the sleep current to 100 mA, because with that value no noise will wake up the TI chip.
When I stop charging or discharging, the current sensor reports 0 mA, but I cannot see any change of the SLEEPM bit or the SLEEP bit of the Operation Status in my window panel. That's why I do not know if the system is actually in sleep mode or not.
Is there any way to confirm that the bq78350 is in sleep mode?
Regards,
Oscar.
