On the xxx senc file, Update Status is shown as 02. For production, as a minimum, Update Status should be 06.
Please make this update and provide updated xxx master .senc file. No updates required to the yyy file, but please provide that as well.
This issue is still unresolved and therefore extremely high priority. Please provide by the end of the day at the latest. Call myself or ZZZ if you have any questions."
I have not personally been involved in any discussions the customer has had with TI, or know personally to whom they spoke. I asked but they refused to tell me. They indicated that their TI FAE asked them to provide the .senc file we use as the golden file in production. The .senc file was created by properly cycling cells with updates to 0x0E, as evidenced by setting of Qmax and learned Ra tables (as indicated in the headings). So I did provide the file to the customer, even though I am actually writing the .dfi file during our PCB flashing and calibration process. They are insisting that we make the change above based upon input from TI. Despite all of the documentation and experience I have provided that update status is changed by the device when IT is enabled, they will not back down from their request. Can someone here please provide an appropriate response. I will be happy to provide the .SENC file via email.
