LM5036: Input Capacitor Selection Help?

Part Number: LM5036

Hello,

I am designing 480W Half-bridge DCDC converter using the LM5036. My input voltage range is a battery bank with a range between 122-90VDC. The output will be 12VDC with a full load efficiency of 93+% (is what I am trying to achieve). This is my first larger DCDC converter design, fyi.

Looking at the datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm5036.pdf?src-supplier=Digi-Key) on page 42 is a reference design. I was hoping that someone could help me understand the input capacitor selection for the capacitive divider plus resistive divider before the primary fet's. From what I've read the resistive divider is two-fold, keeps the middle point voltage more accurate since the tolerance of resistors is mostly better than caps, and it also helps control the discharge of the caps. I was hoping you could show mathematically how those values got chosen?

Cheers,

Will
