Hello,
I am in the process of laying out a printed circuit board (PCB) for the BQ34Z100-G1.
I am adhering as closely as possible to the design guidelines but I seem to have discovered a discrepancy with the example layout in SLUSBZ5.
The illustrations on pages 55 and 56 for the example layout seem to have PACK- and BAT- reversed relative to pin9 (SRP) and pin 10 (SRN).
For example the bottom trace of the sense resistor is connected through to SRP and is labeled as the PACK- side.. which according to all other documentation should be the BAT-.
And likewise the Top trace should be connected to PACK-.
Consequently the single point ground connection between the top trace to the low-current "green" ground is incorrect as well.
This error has thrown me for a bit of a spin!! Please correct me if I am wrong!
