Hi.
We use the bq34z100-G1 to monitor a block of two 6cell Lead crystal batteries (24V 22Ah).
To start with, I used Chem ID from another leas - acid battery in the database: ID 0804. - tried to get all parameters right for my battery.
Our next steps: Measure a charge - discharge cycle at c/10 and upload it to TI as described in "Gauging Parameter Calculator: Match chemistry for Impedance Track gauges"
With the right ID we'll measure another cycle at a high rate and upload it again as described in SLUUBC9 "Simple Guide to GPC Golden GG Maker Tool"
Am I right with this procedure so far?
What happends, If I disconnect the battery from the controller and reconnect it or replace it with a new one?
Will it get back on track after a few cycles or do we have to reset any register in such a case?
Best
Rolf
