Bq20z90 current reading on bq easy not similar to multimeter

Hi ,

I would like to ask about the current  reading bq easy, i found that the reading  is not similar with the multimeter reading when the battery only conncect to bqeasy . In bq easy, the reading on the current is -4mA , but we measured using multimeter, the reading we get is around 500uA only. Please help to clarify and adivised on this.
