Dear all,
When customer used TPS82156EVM, abnormal symptoms appeared.
When used under the following conditions, the output voltage (Vout) rises only to 3.6V.
・ Vin = 3.75V
・ Vout = 5V
・ Iout = approx. 200mA (Load is connected to a resistive element 24Ω)
If Iout = 0mA (no load) from the above conditions, Vout = 5V. In addition, when Iout was returned to 200 mA from the no-load state (Vout = 5 V was normally output), the output voltage became Vout = 5 V.
Also, when changing the load to electronic load and changing to Iout = 100mA, Vout = 5V.
I would like to answer the following questions:
1. When using this EVM, may the above phenomenon occur?
2. Do you know what causes the above phenomenon?
3. Does it need to be unloaded when turning on Vin?
(There was no notation in the data sheet.)
