We are currently using bq34z100-g1 for making a very simple battery gauge indicator. Typically what we want to achieve is to have the possibility to verify battry capacity/charge based on a treshold to turn on a red led or turn of a green led every X seconds..
The battery we use is a CR 2 battery type which we don't recharge and which has only two connector
The device we use is powered by this battery (via J1 and J2), hence power consumption of the battery gauge chip should consume very few.
Can you please advise if bq34z100-g1 is the right chip for this kind of application, if nor propose an alternative.
If bq34z100-g1 is the right choice, can you please review the circuit below?
