We have completed our design using bq34z100-G1 ,now we are into its production.There are some doubts regarding testing of bq34z100.
After programming golden file on the device parameters such as voltage,current&temperature can be checked but how to check LED's which indicate SOC of battery.In bq2050h there was option to program the battery capacity from NACH&NACL registers and check if the correct led's were glowing or not.
Similarly is it possible to program different state of charge in bq34z100-g1 and check if correct led's are glowing or not and if alert function operates properly at required state of charge and further actions work properly.
If so how can it be done & if not what is alternate method to check the complete functionality.
