bq34z100 - Use of VEN

Hi,

I need information about the utilization of VEN.

1. In the simplified schematic of the SLUSBZ5 documentation, the VEN signal allows to connect the battery for alimentation of the bq34z100 gauge and measurments. Is it correct ?
2. When the bq34z100 is in NORMAL MODE, the pulse of VEN is set  each second, during 130ms. Is it correct ?
3. When the bq34z100 is in SLEEP MODE (or FULL SLEEP MODE), the pulse of VEN is set  every 20 seconds, during 130ms. Is it correct ?

Is there an Application Note of TI about the implementation of VEN ?
