I'm not able to trigger the Safe pin for a SOV event.
I'm using the bq79630EVM with following configuration:
- PF_EN and SAFE_EN is set
- SOV in Enable PF A is set (I've noticed that this bit is documented in the technical reference document, but in bqstudio it's marked as RSVD, why?)
- SOV Delay (SOV_D1, SOV_D0) is 00 --> 1s delay
- AFE SOV Threshold is set to 4250mV
The bq79630evm is connected by a dc power supply. When I increase the voltage (above 4250mV per cell) the SOV bit will be set in PF Status A+B, but the SAFE bit in Operation Status A will not change.
Btw: A SUV event will trigger the SAFE pin - I've tested this succesfully.
Could anyone help me with this problem?
