Hello all.
I am using Bq3060 with 57Ah 4S17P Li-ion batteries.
I was discharging batteries at -31,2 degrees and turned on the charger of the batteries.
Theoretically bQ3060 should not allow charging. JT1 is set ar 0 degrees and hysteresis is 1,5 degrees,
BUT bq3060 allowed charging for about 1 second.
I did this 3 times and the charging current for this 1 second was 500mA and another time it was 2A.
So my questions :
1. Is this normal for BQ3060 to allow the charging for a little bit of time in temperatures below JT1? If not then could it be some kind of fault on Battery management board on which bq3060 is placed on?
2. Is this 1 second of charge in freezing temperatures bad for the battery?
