I am working on a design with the BQ34z653 chip and I am having some issues:
Firstly, there is software available online for the older BQ34z651 chip but there doesn't seem to be any available for the BQ34z653. Does anyone know of eqivalent software for the BQ34x653 that I could use?
Secondly, when I query the part number over SMB from the device it reports that it is a BQ20z65 rather than a BQ34z653 as it is labelled, is this a known issue?
Finally, using the BQ34z651 software I seem to be able to read the vales of registers over SMB but not write to them, does anyone know why this might be?
