BQ34Z100-G1 -- CC Gain and CC Delta Calculation

Reading through the SLUA640B document it describes a way to calibrate and calculate the appropriate values for the ccGain and ccDelta values.  But in the bq34z100-g1 datasheet in section 9.2.2.1.4 it says: 

The value of the current sense resistor should be entered into both CC Gain and CC Delta parameters in the
Data Flash Calibration section of the Evaluation Software.

Which ones is correct?  Or does the procedure in the SLUA640B document calculate the sense resistor value.  Both can't be exactly the same as the SLUA640B document claims that ccDelta is equal to ccGain x 1,193,046

Please advise.
