I've made my own BQ40Z60 board, which is the same as BQ40Z60-EVM excepted the following change :
- traditional fuse (no external burning)
- no 2nd degree protection (BQ294700)
- I want to charge at 1A and I want to improve resolution, so Rchg=30mOhms and Rsns=20mOhms
- fixed in 3S configuration
I’ve made 3 boards and checked, checked and rechecked hardware : so the 3 boards seems really OK.
One is charging, the 2 other work well (measuring current, voltage, adapter voltage,…) but no charge.
The only differences I’ve notice in registers are :
- Battery status and gauging status : DSG = 1 on non-charging boards instead of 0 on charging board.
- Charger status : CHGSTAT = 0 on non-charging boards instead of 1 on charging board.
- operation status A : BTP_INT = 0 on non-charging boards instead of 1 on charging board.
Do you have an explanation or other test to help me resolve this problem?
