I have a problem with Over Current Charge protection and would need help from you. The device I use is BQ20Z95 V.150.
I set the OC (2nd tier) Chg to 7000 mA and OC (2nd tier) Chg time to 2 seconds. Connect the battery to EV2300 and open the TI evaluation software to monitor the battery status. Set the power sypply to 8A and turn ON the charge. the battery detects the over current. OCC2 turn ON and the Charge FET turns OFF in 2 seconds. So everything is working OK.
But when I disconnect the EV2300 and repeat the over current charge again (all set up is the same (current at 8A), the battery only turn OFF after 15 seconds instead of 2 seconds.
Why there is 13 seconds delay when battery is not connect to the EV2300?
