Hello,
We have a 6S9P pack utilizing 5.4 AH/3.8 V cells that we are utilizing the BQ34Z100-G1 gauge with.
I have tried this with several packs now, I setup all of the parameters, calibrate the gauge, apply the chemistry file and run thru the following for a learning cycle.
Send IT_Enable
Discharge to Empty
Wait until OCVTAKEN
Charge to full
Wait until OCVTAKEN flag turns RED and status updates to 05
Discharge to Empty at a rate above C/10
Wait until OCVTAKEN flag turns red and status updates to 06
We have completed this with several packs and they all show the same odd characteristic of being fairly accurate when we are at a 05 status, but after we update to 06 our True FCC changes to a value of something like 600 mah and our True RC turns to a negative value such as -12000 mah.
As we slowly charge back up the True RC value slowly climbs back to a positive number, but our True FCC never updates back to a value closer to our 24300 mah design capacity like when we are at a 05 status.
The odd thing is, after the status bit changes to 06, our QMAX Cell 0 updates to a number that looks correct. Right around 24000 mah.
Attached is our GG file to look over and I will try and run another learning cycle and log it this time to get that information.
We have a demo next week that we need this working correctly for, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
