To whom may concern:
We have a project need to put the PCB into high ambient temperature for short period of time: 134C for 5mins, and over 100C for about 15mins.
During this period, the battery won’t be charged or discharged, and the battery will be in removable mode and the enable pin will be disconnected.
We plan to use BQ40Z50R1 and BQ7718xy for the fuel gauge and protections. We checked the ICs’ datasheet, the temperatures are listed:

BQ7718xy | -40 ~ 110 | -65 ~ 150 |
So will these two ICs work for this application? As the temperature exceed the recommended operation temperature, the performance may not be guaranteed; but will the ICs survive from this temperature and be fully functional after cool down? Any suggestions?
