Monitoring single Lead Acid cell (using bq34z110)

Hi,

We want to monitor single Pb-acid cells (2V) and zeroed in on the bq34z110 IC, but I see that it's starting voltage is mentioned as 4V! Is there no way to use it to monitor 2V cells?
