Part Number:ISO5852S-Q1
Hello,
I'm desinging a driver for a 1.2 kV SiC MOSFET and I have some questions to select the right core. I want to use the ISO5852S-Q1 because it has some interesting features:
- DESAT
- Output UVLO
- Miller Clamp
- Soft turn off
The datasheet doesn't say anything about driving SiC-MOSFETs and the CMTI is given in kV/μs (Cio=1pF). Nevertheless, the UCC21520A's datasheet says that:
- [...] It is designed to drive power MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SiC MOSFETs [...]
- [...] with a minimum of 100-V/ns common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) [...] with Cio=1.2pF.
but it doesn't have any of the ISO5852S-Q1's features.
In my application we are expecting voltage transitions of 30~40 V/ns at 50 kHz. Is there any inconvenient using the ISO5852S-Q1? Do you have any CMTI test results of this driver available?
Thanks,
David.
