LM5140-Q1: LM5140 for single ouput

Hi Expect,

Check from PMP15032, when we design for single output, extra OP amplify circuit was necessary  for current sharing on COMP1 to COMP2, right? is it mush have or nice to have?

 

If customer not use amplify circuit , they build both of RCC network circuit on COMP1 and COMP2, is it workable or not?

BQ27750: BQStudio show wrong information.

Hello!

Trying to configure BQ27750 basing on information from url:http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slua777

Now I have some Questions:
1. In 8.2.2 need to configure CC0 bit in DA Config, but I have't bit CC0 in BQStudio...

2. Next I upload Chemistry to my BQ:

And BQStudio says that current chemistry is 0390

 but GAS Gauge shows full capacity is about 3640 mAh

WHY?! How work with this ic?!

BQ34Z651: Chemistry ID not stored in Data Flash

Hi There,

I have a battery system that used a number of different cell chemistries which therefore carry different IDs. 

I am using a bespoke program to manage the different configurations through which I update the data flash arrays of my systems as changes are made etc. I have deduced that the chemistry information is stored more or less in data flash subclasses 80-95 and while I don't understand what those subclasses represent I can see the changes in them between my different chemistry options. However when I re-write the data flash of systems (including this chemistry information) to change a system configuration from one chemistry to another the stored value of the chemistry ID (Manufacturer access 0x0008) is not changed when I do so. 

So my question is, what do I need to do to update the chemistry ID when I update the data flash? It seems to me like I am successfully re-writing the contents of the information stored in the data flash but not the ID itself. Am I missing something?

LM5176EVM-HP: Output voltage error

Dear All

My Japanese customer has a question about LMR14203XMKE/NOPB. The question is below:

In the LM5176EVM-HP, when VOUT is changed from the standard 12V output to 5V output, ripple occurs at VOUT. The ripple increases in proportion to the input voltage and output current, and a ripple of about 700mVp-p occurs at an input voltage of 20V and an output voltage of 2A. (Vout-5V_Iout-2A_Vin-20V.png)
When changing VOUT, only R14 is changed from 280kΩ to 105kΩ. Are there any parts other than R14 that require adjustment? Also, please tell us how to remove the ripple.

Using the WEBENCH, Cout is 220uFx1 and 22uFx3 even when the condition such as switching frequency is the same as the LM5176EVM-HP. (WBDesign 274.pdf)

The operation has been confirmed by matching peripheral components to the value of WEBENCH. The output voltage results did not change (WBDesign275 (1). pdf). When the signal of SW1 is checked, an undershoot at no load and an overshoot at 2A load occur. The above undershoot/overshoot seems to be output as ripple. If you know the cause, please tell me.

The measuring instrument uses the following.
Oscilloscope: DPO5204B
Probe: TPP1000
A photo of TPP1000 measurement is attached.
Even when the output was returned from 5V to 12V, overshoot/undershoot occurred.
(The LM5176EVM-HP is in the condition at the time of purchase.)

TPS61046: Output voltage setting

Hi
My customer has question.

Customer want to set aVout=28V.
However, the output voltage is only set to 24V.
In addition, I tried to set again 20V, 22V, 24V, 26V, 28V.
20V and 22V become the output voltage of each value normally.
But, 24V, 26V and 28V, all become 24V output.
Is there anything that could be attributed to it?

BQ35100: Accumulated Current Does Not Retain When Gauge Enable goes low

Hi,

When I set GE low, accumulated current goes to zero. This doesn't seem correct to me as I thought it was retained in flash.

I call Gauge Stop and wait for the G_DONE bit to be set, then I set GE low. When I set GE high again and then read the Accumulated Capacity, it reads zero. 

What might be causing this issue? Do i need to do something else to save the accumulated current?

LM3150: Switching stopped for a long time after OVP detection

Hello E2E,

Our system has an USB port, that VBUS power from LM3150.
When connected the USB, occur the surge on VBUS and Vfb, LM3150 stop switching. Stop time is about 50usec. When during stop the operation, LG=High, HG=Low.
Therefor, Vout will be descend to about 3V, resume operation.

Question,
When Vfb=0.36V at Vout=3V. The voltage is lower than Vfb-ov.
Why doesn't device resume operation quickly?

BQ76920: Attaching battery minus to VC0 when sing a sense and power connector from a battery

In order to have more accurate sensing of the cell voltages in a battery pack, I would like to use two connectors.  However, I am having concerns about attaching the “telemetry” connector Battery Negative to the Power Connector Battery Negative on the PCB.  Normally this would be on the VC0 connection, but this won’t work for power concerns through the telemetry connector. So the question is - can I attach the “Battery Negative” from the telemetry connector to VC0 through the balancing resistor and NOT additionally attach it to VSS?  The figures in the attached file should help clarify what I am asking.(Please visit the site to view this file)

When we adjust the output voltage into 12V, and we have tested the case of output voltage short-circuit, we found that when we remove the short-circuit, the output voltage fix at 5V but not 12V. So

we  want to know what reasons will cause this situation?

LM5041: Maximum Duty Cycle for Buck Stage

As per datasheet we can go upto 1MHz oscillator frequency. what is the maximum operating duty cycle for the LM5041 buck stage (HD and LD pins) at max freq like 600kHz or 900kHz.

Datasheet page 7,  shows input/output capacitors. Does this mean PTV03010W using the capacitors on this list?

Or is there an upper limit of CBulk?
Customers want to know the internal FET information.

I am designing with UCC28730-Q1.
I would like to design with the following specifications, but I need a guide for transformers.
The specifications we will design are as follows.
▣ SPEC:
        - Input: 85 ~ 265Vac / 60Hz
        - Output: + 12V / 0.4A (4.8W), -12V / 0.1A (1.2W)
                      = 4.8 W + 1.2 W = 6 W

In Webench, only Positive is designed.
Are you able to get the specifications of circuit and transformer for the above specification?
