UCC23513: why don't we specify operating frequency in datasheet?
Part Number:UCC23513
Hi,
Below is the operating frequency data on TLP350. Sometimes the customer will ask what frequency can we achieve, but we don't have such parameters on the datasheet, why?

1,Cell voltage is not accurate.
2,Total voltage is not accurate too.
3,PIN44 (ALERT) pin is always high.
4,The value in the SYS_STAT register is 0x80, 0x90 is changed (this is a board), and another board (0x80, 0x00, other values) changes.
5,How to set the relevant registers (ctrl register, protect register)?
6,How the relevant program logic is handled. For example, what to read first, what is the judgment, then what to do?
BQ76940EVM: BQ76940EVM problems with the discharge
Part Number:BQ76940EVM
Hi there,
I'm starting to work with the BQ76940EVM with his built in BQ78350DBT and BQ7694000DBT.
I'm learning the knowhow regarding the gauge. My application is a BMS for a medical equipment. It's a 16S1P with 100A peak of current and link via SBS 1.1
I have the qbStudio working: I can communicate with the PCB and read the cell voltages values. Calibrate the V I T measurements without problems.
The Vbat is 47V and the Vpack is 39V measured with a multimeter.
Why the Vpack is 39V without load? Even worst, If I load the Vpack with 200ohms the it fall to 0V!!!!
Could be, that I have the registers set wrongly? I mean the PCB configuration with the bqStudio.
Maybe I have to activate the discharge mosfet....
Thanks
UCD9240: Programming SVF file using 3rd party JTAG adapter
Part Number:UCD9240
Hi,
I am trying to re-program a UCD9240 part on my board using the SVF file exported from "Ti Fusion Power Designer" software.
Unfortunately I dont have access to Ti USB-to-GPIO adapter, Nor to any of the JTAG adapter recommended by Ti in the document entitled: "Configuration Programming of UCD Devices".
So for, I've managed to prepare the basic setup required to download svf file to the device:
- The address Pin of PMbus are shorted to ground to enable JTAG interface.
- The JTAG adapter (digilent jtag-hs2) is connected to JTAG interface of the UCD9240 and power is applied to the board.
- OpenOCD is used to program SVF file into device and this command is invoked to programm the UCD9240:
openocd -f digilent-hs2.cfg -c init -c "svf /home/mahmoud/Desktop/UCD9240.svf"
After that, the OpenOCD begins to write the SVF file into device, But After a while, It stops with the following error:
Error: tdo check error at line 114
Error: read = 0x20B8E, want = 0x38458554, mask = 0xFFFFFFFE
(The complete log file is attached).
Any help is appreciated.(Please visit the site to view this file)

TPS54618-Q1: enable pin connection
Part Number:TPS54618-Q1
Hi team,
My customer designs TPS54618-Q1 enable which connects to EC and also pull down to ground through 100k ohm.
I know there is a pull up current in enable pin which is 1.9uA, if EC is no function now, the enable pin should exist 1.9u*100k = 0.19V?
Thank you.

BQ25895: BQ25895 charging current 5A, why the input current is limited to 3.25a,How to realize charging current 5A with input limit of 3.25a?
ULN2003A: maximum collector current figure 4
Part Number:ULN2003A
Hello,
There are some post relating this topic but I am still not sure our usage is possible. Please let me ask this.
1. What is made limit?
Figure 4, D package duty vs current graph
This limit will come from power dissipation. Do I think correctly?
2. Duty estimation
We use 6 of 7 channels. 6 channels split by 2 group, group 1 and group 2. Each group has 3 channels. Each group requires the same current like 100mA each.
There are four status.
1) Group 1 current flow, Group 2 doesn't flow -> called this 1
2) Group 1 current flow, Group 2 flow -> called this 2 (= 1+1)
3) Group 1 doesn't flow, Group 2 flow -> called this 1
4) Group 1 doesn't flow, Group 2 doesn't flow -> called this 0
1,1,2,1,1,0,0,0 is repeated. I assumed this duty cycle 75% (= 6 / 8). Is this estimation right?
3. Total drive ability
Assumed this 75% duty, I can see each channel can flow around 95mA from figure 4. We combine 3 channels so total around 285mA load can drive.
Is my estimation correct?
I think ULN2003A can drive around 285mA load when ambient temperature is 70C. Would you review if I can consider correctly?

Hi
Can I use 6 months old battery pack to do a battery calibration (Identifying chemical ID) and use that chemical ID for the new battery packs? Old and new battery packs are the same (same cells are used for old and new). The problem is that battery supplier doesn't have the production battery yet, we already have sample battery packs from the supplier (6-month old), but the battery supplier told me that, they make the same battery packs for the production.
Thanks and Regards

LM9061-Q1: LM9061-Q1
Part Number:LM9061-Q1
Hello Sir,
1.) I am using LM9061-Q1 high side gate driver in one of my applications. I have done a calculation for worst case scenario and I am switching a mosfet with this high side driver.
I am having a maximum drain to source voltage drop of 40 millivolts, after which the protection comparator will get activated and the driver has to be in latch off mode.
For this application, I have taken Rthreshold = 560 ohms and Rsense = 500 ohms. Is these values will be okay for making the gate driver to latch off ?
Also is it necessary to use Rsense resistor?
2.) Do i need to provide any overtemperature protection for the mosfet?
Because anyways the driver will protect it from overcurrent protection.
TPS796: Output Voltage drops from 2.5V to 2.2V
Part Number:TPS796
Hi,
We are using TPS79625DCQR in one of our designs.
We are converting from 3.3V to 2.5V in our case. Our total continuous current requirement is about 800mA. Attached the circuit schematics below.
On the board we are seeing the voltage drop from 2.5V to about 2.2V. (Ref image 5V_3.3V(FPGAbank2con).jpg)
Suspecting on the devices connected we tried lifting the pin4(output pin) of the device and we observed the output. We see that the Power is about 2.5V swinging(Ref: 5V_2.5V(red)Pinlifted.jpg)
After this to clear the board side, we provided an external supply of 2.5V. Observed that the circuits were driving just 360mA. & when probed we did not observe any swings as in previous case.
Now what could be the reason for this dip in the voltage.
Can anyone please help me with this.
Thanks & Regards,
Nanjunda M

LM5141QRGEVM: SW node ringing
Part Number:LM5141QRGEVM
Hi team,
I was observing the voltage ringing at the switch node by using the EVM. I found the voltage overshoot and ringing is different at different input voltages. In my opinion, the ringing at VIN=12V(left figure)is much more common and easier to understand. But when the input voltage is 24V or much higher, the ringing become less obvious. It seems that the switching speed of the top switch is much slower? How does this phenomenon happen? Could you please give some explanation?
Thanks.
BQ24618: Resistor of power supply pin in BQ24618 schematic burns in every startup
Part Number:BQ24618
I'm using a BQ24618 to charge a 6s battery with 2A. My input voltage is 28V. When i started using this i open a question in forum. e2e.ti.com/.../2630783 When i tested this integrated circuit, when i connected the battery without power supply, BQ24618 was burning. To prevent this i inserted a ideal diode in output of the circuit that did not turn on the bq24618 when it had only the battery connected. But with this ideal diode, BQ24618 don't detectsa charged battery.
Now, when i tested this again without the ideal diode in output, and just turn on my power supply to check if i have 25.2v at output, resistor R102 (in my schematic) burns and is 1/4W. BQ24618 burns too. Who is causing this issue? I have so many problems with 28V voltage, and i tested this circuit with 19v in datasheet example and works well. So the problem is related to 28V, but integrated circuit should be working with this voltage
TPS65131-Q1: Having a problem with Inverting Buck-Boost
Part Number:TPS65131-Q1
Dear expert,
I have a problem with inverting Buck-Boost converter. I tried to implement the circuit which is explained in http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva721a/slva721a.pdf and realized that the output voltage was around -12.5V. I used the feedback resistor values as R3= 1MOhm and R4= 121.2KOhm. The output voltage generated was not -10V, it was -12.5V. What could cause this problem? Note that other values such as output capacitor, input capacitor are all used according to the values given in the example which is given above.
Best regards,
Ramazan Yaman
