Part Number:TPS53515

Hi

Need power selection, current 10A, 12v to 0.8v, chip size requirements, to be small, 3.5*3.5*<2mm;
I chose the TPS54020, but the TPS54020 did not ship in large quantities. I found a lot of shipments of the TPS54620. This is also clear. I used it before, but the current is not enough.
Recommended TPS53515RVER 3.5mm × 4.5mm 28-pin quad flat no-lead (QFN) package, but the delivery date of TPS53515 is roughly 35W LT, the delivery period is not good, not suitable;
Help to find other, comprehensive performance satisfaction, size, delivery, price and other factors are satisfied;

Part Number:LM5160A

hi team,

i am working on a circuit, before it goes to production i checked it and saw a conflict between the design i got from webench and datasheet.

on webench the poles of the transformer i used for isolation are opposite and on datasheet there is not a reminder about this issue.

does it metter? who is right? what is the different ?

thanks,

Itzik

TINA/Spice/TPS3803: Adding hysterezis

Part Number:TPS3803

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

Dear sir, good morning

I'd like to add  a hysterezis in  TPS3803-01. I found a document SLVA360 (please see attach). I draw a circuit in TINA-TI and using a digital multimeter looked at the voltage at point VF1. TINA-TI shows 1.23 V.  If exactly, then 1.225V. But, if you count on a calculator, you get 1.32 V. Please, report, what's the matter?

TIA

Sincerely

Vladimir Naumenkov

Hi,

The customer is looking for a compatible charger with bq27542 or the bq27546 fuel gauge ICs for Li-Ion batter with below specifications. Can you please advise the best charger options?

The nominal voltage of the cell (single cell battery) is 3.8V, battery capacity is 3000 - 5000mah.

The current is max at 3amp.When charging, needs to charge at 4.35v.

Hi,

I'm designing Battery management system (BMS) for 24V electric bike. I want to use LDO for MCU sleep mode and buck converter for MCU active mode  to reduce the BMS standby current. Kindly propose a design strategy to proceed further.

Design requirements:

Vin : 20 to 30

vout : 3.3

buck current : 0.2 to 0.3A

LDO current : 0.1A

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi everyone

I designed a flyback converter with Lm5022 by webench for switching frequency of 100khz . the core material that webench suggest is TP4A and I designed another flyback with the same specification but with Lm3481  for this design webench suggest N49 core material. I want to know why it chose these core material. on what basis should we choose the core material?

thanks,

LM5160A: converter burns every time I power it up...

Part Number:LM5160A

Hi TI expers,

I designed small FlyBuck converter with LM5160A controller to generate a symmetrical supply rails from 50V DC source. I simulated the circuit and the simulation works well, but after creating small test-board I have hard time to get it run. Supplying the circuit from current limited bench power supply everything works well. Supplying the circuit from high power 50V power supply it burns directly :( Guys - what is here wrong??? Please see attached schematic and the photo showing where the IC burns - every time it burns exactly in this same point.

TLC8116FI slave address

Hi Team,

I have a question with the TLC8116FI product. This product is a product exclusively for Japanese amusement customers.
Not listed on TI_Web. Data sheet is only Japanese version, but attached.

(Please visit the site to view this file)

Is the fixed [110] of the slave address becoming [010]?
When the customer read the slave address, it was h40.
In the customer settings, it should be hC0 settings.

Is there any way to change the fixed [110] of slave address?

Best Regards,
Ishiwata

TPS2373-4EVM-758: one question about TPS2373-4EVM

Part Number:TPS2373-4EVM-758

 Hi,

Customer has some questions about the oring application on  TPS2373-4VM:

1. On TPS2373-4EVM-758,  if the pass FET is turned off by APD pin, Adapter would power the system.

The DCDC output would break off, when switching from adapter to PSE. Is it right?

2.  The PSE side still keeps connecting since MPS function in TPS2373 would turn on, is it true?

Datasheet shows the MPS would work if APD is higher than 1.65V.

 3. If item2 is true, why it can’t switch back from adapter to PSE to achieve smoothly switch between adapter and PSE ?

Can you give some comments about the oring application?

Thanks.

UCC2897A: How to design transformer

Part Number:UCC2897A

Hi Peter,

We want to design an isolation power supply based on UCC2897A, input voltage is 60Vdc-160Vdc, output is 48Vdc/3A, efficiency over 91%. But at present, this IC supports 110V voltage. I saw a design on TI website that is 200-400V input, but the input voltage is 200V-400V for transformer. www.ti.com/.../pmp7410.So I would like to ask if there are any design tools or methods for UCC2897A about transformer parameters.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Thanks.

Hi~

According to datasheet, the capacitor rating of CT pin is recommended to have minimum 25V rating, may I know why it should be >25V?

Its input voltage is only up to 5.7V.

Thanks and Best regards,

LMR23630: compensations for LMR23630 as inverting buck, including power stage simulation to avoid audible noise.

Part Number:LMR23630

Hi Engineers,

My customer use LMR23630AF to do the inverting circuit.

and the power source has two conditions, one is battery one is adaptor.

Now they have some problems on compensation tuning to satisfied in both condition without the audible noise.

The circuit is as below, and they use power stage tool to design type III compensations.

battery power --> Input:DC12.8~14.8V Output:-16V/0.5A (audible noise happen)

Adaptor --> Input:DC19V Output:-16V/0.5A (no audible noise)

Q1 at adaptor mode they change CFF(C308) to solve inductor noise issue, but it didn't work on battery mode, do you have any fine tune suggestion?

Q2 LMR23630AF is a fixed frequency version, is SYNC pin has top priority if we use external clock?

what's the start up waveform looks like? will it cause the harmonic audible noise?

Q3 could you please provide the inverting excel calculation tool for LMR23630AF?

Q4  which type of compensation we should use for LMR23630AF? Is type III the right one?

Q5 if the above answer is yes, than what's the Rcomp and Ccomp in LMR23630 internal?

TL431A-Q1: VCA is oscillating

Part Number:TL431A-Q1

Hi Team,

My customer is using TL431A-Q1 with attached circuitry, and seeing oscillation at VCA node when Ta > 65degC.

Capcitive load seeing frlom VCA node is 2nF, so from  the view point of "Figure 12 Stability Boundary Conditions", it looks there is enough margin as far as IKA = 16mA.

With below configuration, IKA is about 1.25mA at 25C, so I suppose lower IKA contribute instability of the circuitry.

Q.1) Can you provide Stability Boundary Conditions when VKA=5V, IKA =1.25mA at Ta = 65deg?

Q.2) I will asking customer to increase IKA > 10mA. Can you provide Stability Boundary Conditions when VKA=5V, IKA=16mA at Ta>65deg?

Best regards,

Part Number:TPS2546

hello

I find that only 1.2-V charging scheme can enable the device's fast charging at 2 A, which is the maximum value for charging current.

which mode can support 2.1A charging current when TPS2546 is connected with Ipad?

How would I to set it?
