Why I need 10A diode in 3A buck converter?
Old WEBENCH was better.

Part Number:TPS23750
We are using the TPS23750 as a non-isolated design with 12.5 VDC of output power. We are also using auxiliary power of the device using ORing Option 3 (the power going directly to the output side of the PoE power converter).
If I am powering the device with just the aux power, everything works fine until I bring the voltage up to 12.8 V in which there is a 30 mA jump in current. I also have one of the TPS23750 eval boards and I am seeing this same jump in current right around 12.8 V.
A few questions:
- Is there a maximum Voltage that is allowed to power from Aux power if using ORing Option 3?
- Do I risk damaging my PoE Circuitry if I power the device externally with 13 VDC?
Part Number:LMZ14203EXT
Hello
I have a situation that in the initialization of the circuit will be placed 5V voltage on the output of LMZ14203EXT, with no voltage at the input. The intention is use a startup voltage for the circuits fed by the Vout of the LMZ14203EXT.
The equivalent circuit and the sequence of operation (1, 2 and 3) is bellow:
Will the LMZ14203EXT suffer any damage on this situation ?
Thanks,
Julhio.
Part Number:TPS549D22
Hello,
I am trying to figure out how much current VDD is using when the TPS549D22 is active (not in shutdown). Is there a way to simulate this the datasheet shows Ivdd is 2mA under no load but I have a FPGA connected to the output that because of static current always will have a load. My estimate for max current of the FPGA is 8A. Reason for the question My Vdd is supplied by a small buckboost and I want to make sure that I am not tripping the current limit.

David
Part Number:BQ35100
Hi,
I want to set configure the BQ35100 chip for my battery ER26500. However, in TI Battery Management Studio 1.3.54.1, I couldn't find the reference of my battery (ER26500) or the type LiSoCI2.
In BQ35100 datasheet, I read that the chip is compatible with LiSoCI2 battery:
So what chemical ID should I choose for my battery?
Cheers,
Part Number:TPS7A4701-EP
Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hello,
I have built an LTSpice model (shown in the attached) for the TPS7A4700 and TPS7A33. When I add resistors, it functions well. Likewise the Balanced Line Receiver THAT 1200 works well too, when using voltage supplies provided in LTSpice. However, when I add the THAT 1200 Balanced line receiver, the circuit no long works. It appears to start out with a DC voltage on the output, which I think may be affecting the output regulation function.
Can you please have a look and see if you see any clues as to why this would happen?
Thanks in advance,
Cody

Part Number:BQ20Z655-R1
Hi.
If I want the cell capacity to be more than 32000mA on a BQ20Z655-R1, is it possible to divide by 10, by making a circuit change that reduce the voltage. into ASRP and ASRN
So that 32000mA will be 3200mA .
If possible, is this best done by a simple resistor or do I need a Opamp.
Than maximum cell can be 37 * 5000 mA = 185 Amp. = 18500 * 10 mA
If there a chip that is more suitable for this capacity I will like to now .
Spec. The drain and charge is not more than 7000mA, And the chip need to handle 4 cells and have a SMbus or I2c bus for communication.

Customer have received the BQ27411EVM-G1A. And couldn't find SmartFlash OTP Programming guide (SLUA703). Could you please guide ?

Would it be possible to get the CAD files for the board layout for this EVM or some other reference design?

Question
Q1
Is it possible to perform FPWM and frequency SYNC operation with the addition of MOSFET shown below?
Is there no problem?
Q2
Is there a specification of the input capacitance of the SYNC pin when adding a MOSFET?
When 5 kΩ PU, the load of VCC increases by about 1.5 mA, but is there a problem within 20 mA in total with SW operation?
Your answer
"In terms of the LM5145's SYNCOUT signal, the recommendation is to measure the amplitude applied to the LM5175's RT/SYIN pin to verify it does not exceed the specification".
Q3
Is it confirmed by actual measurement?
In case
We are concerned about troubles due to thermal characteristics and product variations.
Q4
Clamping is considered with SBD etc. separately from 3.3 V power supply so that the RT / SYNC pin does not become 3.3 V or higher, but how much is the upper limit of tolerance for 3.3 V?
Q5
Or Csync is set to 1000 pF [From EVM]
How much is the external signal amplitude recommended value?
(To satisfy the RT / SYNC pin voltage upper limit 3.3 V, H threshold 2.1 V min, L threshold 1.2 V max)
Best regard.
Bob Lee.
Hi Sir,
Do you have recommend for AC to DC solution like below
Vin:90VAC 20Vo,6A with 92% efficiency
need to meet DoE6 and Coc Tier 2 and IEC62368
Part Number:BQ78350
I want to set I set SOCFlagConfig B[TCASETVCT] = 0 , but I notice that many charging protection methods uses TCA. I don't know if some undesirable conditions will happen if I do so ?
How does the bit TCA empact on the operation of the gauge?
Part Number:UCC28700-Q1
Dear TI Team,
I am designing the UCC28700-Q1 and have a problem during the test to request help.
1. The waveform of VDD is measured as shown below.
It seems to swing from 21V to 7V with protection.
Debugging contents are as follows.
1. CS : 1.7K Ohm / 1.5Ohm to 1.2/1.0/ 0.7Ohm Change Test
2. VS : 75K Ohm / 41KOhm to 39K/37K/32KOhm Change Test
3. VDD Cap : 2.2uF to 330nF/470nF/1uF/10uF/22uF/47uF/100uF Change Test
4. Transformer : The transformer ratio is 6: 1: 1: 1, and the value of the inductance corresponding to each turn ratio is 550: 15.8: 15.9: 19.8 uH.
Turns : W1 54t / W2 9t / W3 9t / W4 10t --> W2 15t Change Test
I have tested the above but I can not improve it. Please check if there are any more areas to check.
Schematic
Thanks.
Part Number:BQ24780S
Hi expert,
I have some question about BQ24780S as follow.
Operation condition: VBUS=19.5V, input limit=2176mA, 4s cell, 4.4V/cell, f=400kHz, L=2.2uH,discharge current limit=4096mA
Thanks!
Part Number:TPS92662-Q1
Dear Sir/Ms.
My client wants to use the TPS92662 to complete the Fade in and Fade out functions. His expectation is to set a final brightness (perhaps 90%) and a lighted time slope and then the set up a flag or an instruction. The TPS92662 can be brightened slowly. Set a final brightness (perhaps 5%) followed by a darkened time slope and then the next instruction. TPS92662 can slowly dim. But we can't find this function in the datasheet. Does the TPS92662 have such a function?

Dears,
I want to power my in-door sensor with mini Solar panels, which is output 0.8~1.5V, and my Li-on battery is 3.7V.
Could you offer a device for boost charger? Thanks a lot.
I only need 1mA recharging current.
Part Number:BQ24770
I am designing a test setup for performing life cycle tests on 3500 mAh batteries. For these I need a battery charger to charge it, an electronic load to discharge it and I'm considering using a fuel gauge to measure the battery voltage and current to obtain the capacity. So, I'll just keep replacing sample batteries once they are tested with new ones. These batteries are not installed inside any device such as laptop/cell phone during testing. So I have several questions pertaining to various components which will be used in the test setup.I could find answers to these questions on different threads, but I've not yet finalized all the parts which will go into my setup and hence, I'm posting this just to ensure that the answers I receive will be more general and also I could save time in the process:
