Lifetime Cell Min Voltage Set to "0" Issue

I have observed several instances in which battery packs using the bq20z95 gas gauge are coming of a cycle test with the lifetime min cell voltage set to "0." The cell voltages in the pack are all within nominal operating ranges when the cycle is complete. If the lifetime data is reset to our default settings and the pack is cycled again, the issue does not appear to reoccur.

Several of the batteries have been cycled while monitoring SMBUS after resetting the lifetime data to determine if a cell does, indeed, drop out while running. There has been no indication of that happening, and the lifetime cell data matches what is recorded by SMBUS.

Just to make sure it doesn't have something to do with a trace issue, some batteries have also been cycled at high temperatures and have been placed through a vibration test. Still no indication of a dropped cell.

Is there some other way that the lifetime min cell voltage can record a "0" even though no cell has dropped to that value or been disconnected from the sense lines?

I have seen another post for this same issue, but there were no responses listed.
