I have a customer with the following issue:
Having trouble with the TI gas gauge BQ27532, sometimes it locks up and returns the value 0xFFFF at every I2C transaction. I can't seem to do a soft reset and the part does not have a hardware reset pin. When it gets into this mode the only thing I can do to get it back is to power cycle by unplugging the battery, not something I want my customers to do.
Any suggestions?
