Hi all,
I have three questions about BQ40z60:
1. When I had DC charger connected but charging is not enable, the reading from ACP pin is correct (about 12.06 V). When charging is enable the voltage reading from ACP pin equals 300 mV lower (about 11.75 V). As I read in other topics it is related to charge pump on ACFET. Is this behavior correct?
2. Let's assume that we have 2S battery pack and battery voltage is 7.2V. I plug DC charger and I have about 11.75V on ACP pin. When I disconnect DC charger after few minutes (but before VCT) the reading from ACP pin is 200mV less then battery voltage (about 7.0V). This is causing, that through R6 100kOhm (check Bq40z60 eval schematic) there is flowing about 70uA. How to avoid this ?
3. According to above point. Is this R6 100kOhm resistor necessary? Could I just remove it to avoid current draw?
Best regard and have a nice weekend.
