I have custom PCB with BQ28Z610 and single cell LiFePo4 battery. I use 0440 Chemistry ID. There are some questions:
1) How should I connect VC1 and VC2 pins? Now it's short, but in EVM documentation it sould connect thru 1kOhm resistor. Is it important?
2) What should i do with Qmax Cell 2 parameter (also with another parameters according Cell 2)? Now Qmax cell 2 = 0, Bit CC0 = 0 in DA Configuration;
3) Full charge capacity and Remaining capacity still zero after 2 cycles. Why? My sequence of cycling is: full charge -> relax(while REST != 1) -> full discharge(1st time ~c/10, 2nd c/2) -> relax (while REST != 1).
4) Charging voltage is 3650mV, but when Cell voltage rise above 3500mV, TC flag is set and charger disconnect. When voltage fall below 3500mV - charger connect.
How can I learn gas gauge on this IC? File with settings is attached.
